MotoStash
Our Story

In His Name,
We Ride.

It's not a brand tagline. It's the reason this store exists.

Chapter One

From car shows to project bikes.

Cars were always a part of our lives. Josh and I went to car shows long before he was old enough to drive. As soon as he got his license, we were constantly working on whatever project car he had brought home.

When Josh turned 16, he looked at me and said, "I want to get a bike — something we can work on together." We found a 1986 Honda CBR1000RR Hurricane that wasn't even running. For months, we spent our evenings in the garage tuning, cleaning and re-cleaning carburetors, replacing parts, and doing whatever it took just to get that bike moving.

First it made it around the block. Then around a bigger block. Eventually, we got it on the road. Once we got there, we never looked back.

We rode every chance we got. That first year alone, we probably put close to 20,000 miles on our bikes. Before long, we were buying different motorcycles, chasing new roads, and joining every ride we could find. No road was off limits. No trip was too long. No destination was too far away.

It was just the two of us and the open road.

Chapter Two

The accident that nearly cost the leg.

As our passion for riding grew, we started looking for ways to become a bigger part of the motorcycle community. We dreamed about starting a mobile motorcycle repair and towing business. We searched for a bus we could convert into a service truck, gathered tools, made plans, and worked through the details of turning that dream into reality.

Then life changed.

I was involved in a motorcycle accident that nearly cost me my leg. Josh was right there beside me through every step of recovery. He didn't miss a single appointment, didn't hesitate once. When I was finally able to ride again, I bought another bike and got back on the road.

Josh was right there beside me through every step of recovery.

About a year later, tragedy struck again. Josh was involved in an accident, and we lost him.

To say my world was turned upside down would be an understatement.

Chapter Three

Even after losing my brother, I kept riding.

Riding became a way to stay connected to him. Every mile on the road felt like carrying a piece of him with me.

A couple of years later, I was involved in another serious accident — this time, I broke my spine. Recovery was long and difficult, but it never changed one thing:

I still ride.

Today, I ride differently. I leave the reckless decisions behind and focus on enjoying the roads, the views, and the freedom that motorcycles bring. Every mile carries memories of the rides Josh and I shared.

Chapter Four

MotoStash: the legacy project.

MotoStash isn't exactly the business we originally dreamed about building together, but it's a beginning. It's a way to keep that dream alive and continue creating something in his honor.

This brand exists because of the memories we made, the roads we traveled, and the brotherhood we shared.

In his name, we ride.

Every product we carry. Every mile we ride. Every rider who finds their way here — that's Josh's legacy, still rolling forward.

The Motto
Later Nerds

There is one phrase that always reminds me of Josh. Whenever a ride was over, or whenever we were all heading our separate ways for the night, Josh had a habit of saying, "Later, Nerds!" He'd say it to whoever we were riding with, throw on a grin, and take off down the road. It became his thing — his signature sign-off.

After we lost him, those two simple words carried a whole new meaning. That's where the MotoStash motto comes from. "Later Nerds" isn't just a slogan or a brand phrase. It's a tribute to Josh, a reminder of the rides we shared, the memories we made, and the spirit he brought to every road he traveled.

Every time you see those words, you're seeing a small piece of his legacy.
